Services are Restored after System-Wide Outage
HOOKER, Okla. (June 24, 2010) – Services have been restored to the Tri-County Electric service territory after a system-wide power outage. A substation located in the Texas panhandle owned Southwestern Public Service d/b/a Xcel Energy had an operation causing interruption in services to Tri-County Electric members at approximately 10:28 a.m. All services were restored to members by 12:33 p.m.
“A request was made for members to conserve energy and we appreciate the efforts made during the outage,” remarked Zac Perkins, manager of Communications and Member Relations. “Without the quick response of members the outage could have lasted longer.”
In the event of an outage at your address, you should contact Tri-County Electric at 800-522-3315 to report it promptly.
